    Hi all,

    Facebook plugin stopped working a few weeks ago. Hadn’t had time to look into it any sooner but can’t find anything related on the internet.

    When I go to the new message screen in wordpress, the following message shows;

    Notice: Undefined index: automatic_posts in /***/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/facebook-publish/lib/new-post-update-status.php on line 25

    When looking in the general settings tab of the facebook publish settings, there is the following setting;
    Enable Facebook Publishing for automatically created posts?

    Behind this question, I see 2 radiobuttons with the following texts;

    Notice: Undefined index: automatic_posts in /home/vhosts/bclieshout.nl/httpdocs/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/facebook-publish/lib/admin/general-screen.php on line 98
    name="automatic_posts" class="automatic_posts" id="automatic_posts_yes" >Yes (Makes it compatible with other auto-posting plugins)
    Notice: Undefined index: automatic_posts in /home/vhosts/bclieshout.nl/httpdocs/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/facebook-publish/lib/admin/general-screen.php on line 100
    name="automatic_posts" class="automatic_posts" id="automatic_posts_no" >No

    I do realise that something got broken, the only thing is I don’t really know where to look for. I checked the php files and I’ve got the feeling the $fp_settings cannot be accessed. But I’m not sure.

    Anyone able to help me out?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello karazz,

    Hope you are doing good.

    Its really unfortunate that you got his problem. One possible solution I can suggest is that you reset the plugin from the Reset button in the General section of plugin backend.

    Please note that it will erase all you plugin setting(not posts) and you need to reauthorize the plugin from Facebook.

    I believe you are using the latest version: (1.2)

    Hi Pramod,

    Yes, I’m using version 1.2.

    Saving the settings first was a good thing to do, after resetting it, I had it back up and running in a minute.

    Thanks for the solution, any idea how it might got broken?

    Regards,
