You’ll need to deactivate or delete that plugin (social-media-widget) – if you can’t login you’ll need to use FTP or Cpanel to access your files on the server – find it here:

    wp-content
        plugins
social-media-widget - RENAME OR DELETE THIS FOLDER

I did deactived it and this still happens should I now delete?

Ok now it’s gone but how to get my social media back? Download a new plugin? This one was working fine until my site completely disappeared last night after I updated my WP to 3.7.1 and I had to go into the FTP via my host and fix it.

There are lots of social media plugins so you could look for a new one or you could try reinstalling this one – sometimes these kind of errors won’t happen again. But it may be that this plugin has a conflict with another plugin or your theme – in which case you’ll have to decide which plugin(s) or theme(s) you want to use more.
