 * Hello,
 * I was recently in the WordPress back office of my client’s site at [http://ChristinaBiamonte.com](http://ChristinaBiamonte.com)
   simply updating to the latest version of WordPress (not sure what current version
   is) and I encountered an error during the update. Right in the middle of updating(
   which normally takes just a few seconds), the update randomly stopped and I never
   received the confirmation line stating that the update was finished.
 * Now, whenever I try to access her website or the WP gate (wp/admin) I receive
   the following error:
 * Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_bloginfo() in /home/christin/public_html/
   wp-includes/script-loader.php on line 536
 * I can still access the Style css files via cPanel, but I have NO idea how to
   fix this!
 * Help! 🙂
 * Thanks,
    Phil

 * I believe that you have a backup of the website, so you can just re-upload all
   of the wp files and the site should work same as before the unsuccessful update.
   You can then try updating to the latest version again.
    If, for some reason,
   you have not backed up the website, follow the manual update procedure as described
   in WprdPress Codex [here](http://codex.wordpress.org/Updating_WordPress#Manual_Update).

 * Im not really sure if I have a backup site or not. I originally loaded WP onto
   the site using Fantastico. Do you know if I can reload WordPress again via Fantastico
   without losing all the customizations I made to the WP site?
 * I just really don’t want to lose the customizations that I paid somebody else
   to make.
 * Thanks so much!

 * When updating WP, only the WP files are replaced with the new ones, and not your
   theme files.
    However, when using third-party installers, the situation may be
   slightly different. Backup the wp-content folder as there are all your files
   there (images, theme, plugins, etc). Also backup the wp-config.php file. Backup
   the database. Reinstall WP using the Fantastico, check if everything is working.
   If it doesn’t work, perform manual WP installation, restore the db, upload wp-
   config.php, upload content of the wp-content folder.
