Just installed the WordPress 5.8 with HTML Forms 1.3.22. Found two PHP Warnings in the error_log file after I tried to send a test message from a contact form created with HTML Forms plugin:

Undefined array key “required_fields” in …/wp-content/plugins/html-forms/views/tab-fields.php on line 21
Undefined array key “email_fields” in …/wp-content/plugins/html-forms/views/tab-fields.php on line 22

    HTML Forms 1.3.22
    Wordpress 5.8

What PHP version are you using?
If you are not sure you can ask your webhost, or install a “phpinfo” plugin to see the version number.

    Thanks for letting me know.

    PHP 8.0 (ea-php80).

Checked today again. The warning can be reproduced when a new form is added (probably after saving) with the default fields.

I don’t know, but maybe this warning is produced because of my HTML Forms custom hooks, I will check this later.

Would be great if you can test without your custom hooks yes. And otherwise maybe see if it’s related to PHP8, switching to PHP 7.4 (as a test). If it is not your custom hooks, please do let us know what you find!!

Ok, so far the problem has not been repeated, I guess the plugin was not the cause, so we can consider it solved. Thank you for the support!
