Unclosed tags

Hi, I’ve been using your plugin for some time with LayersWP builder with good effects, but recently I noticed in fac widgets unopened p and a tags.

Example:

Any ideas what is wrong?

Hi,
This is WordPress autoformat feature.
You can try one of this solutions in your theme:

Hold hold hold. Disabling autoformat does not solve it. It changes nothing, please note there are some a tags unopened.

./templates/widget/promotion.php – this is template for promotion widget in the plugin directory. As you can see in this template, there is no unclosed/unopened “p” or “a” tags – http://i.prntscr.com/8ac9627a1c294ed28a578d188e63fd8d.png .
So I’m on 99% sure, that the problem is related to WordPress autoformat feature.

Hi, I’ve just made an update to the 3.2.3 version. Nothing changed, errors are in place.

Hmm… Seems, I’m understand now.

Look at this: http://dev.profosbox.com/ – all works fine!
Also I installed LayersWP and added promotion widget to one random layer. All worked fine too.

So, I think, this is problem related to media layer of you theme and I want to propose you contact the support of LayersWP theme with this issue, because with standard WP themes and many custom themes all works perfect.

Also, if you are using cache plugins or something else, try to clear cache on your site before LayersWP support.

Well, I have changed layout of the elements using default footer widget areas and problem is solved. This forces me to do some css edits but since site validates with no errors it’s fine.

BTW, W3C validator displays warnings related to your plugin:

You can move value from “description” to “headline” field in widget parameters. It will solve your problem with warnings.
