Hi there, since a few weeks, we have a curios error with the let’s review plugin from codecanyon, but the developer is really slow with answers.

This plugin using a slider-button in wordpress backend editor, to set a final review score.

It began with spordic failures and now it’s not working anymore.

If i check google dev console, it says:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘toggleClass’)
    at x.<computed>.<computed>._toggleClass (core.min.js?ver=1.12.1:116)
    at x.<computed>.<computed>._addClass (core.min.js?ver=1.12.1:116)

I tried to deactivate all plugins and switching to standard theme, so only wordpress and the let’s review plugin was active. But no luck.

The most curious thing is, i installed a wordpress test Environment on the same server, just in a sub directory, so same server conditions, and there it’s working fine.

Maybe here has someone an idea?

    thanks :)`

What did you do at the site before this error happened?
    Any updates?
    Any Modification/changes?

Hi there, regular plugin updates. But can’t say specific, which could cause the error.

But as i wrote before, this error still appears, if i deactivate all plugin except the let’s review plugin and also switching to a wordpress standard theme.

Are there tools out there, to finde the error?

Edit: the plugin developer says this: “Javascript is breaking on your site and that is the cause.”

and if i debug scipts, it shows that, see image:

i deactivate all plugin except the let’s review plugin

Please try deactivating <strong>ALL</strong>, No exception.

Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Hi again,

i could replicate the error on a fresh wordpress install. It seems a conflict with the review style in the editor settings. We using 8.6 format as example, where the slider not working.

Once i switching to the percent %-design, the slider immediately working again, see video below.

any idea where this comes from? php-version?
