    I’m using wootique theme for wordpress and when try to add new post no shortcodes work and this error show in console screen Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ILLEGAL this error from wootique\functions\js\shortcode-generator\dialog.php and I’m try to show alert for testing if this JavaScript code work nothing showing then write <script> tag and i have error Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token <

    Have you made any changes to any of these theme files ? If so you have broken a cardinal rule, never edit theme files, setup a CHILD THEME and edit it. (However some commercial themes are themselves child themes so in this case you have no option).
    Make sure you are using a child theme.

    Just maybe there is a corrupted file in your theme, so please:
    * Rescue you changes if you have any.
    * Delete the theme, and reinstall a fresh copy.

    Test your website again without customising your theme.
    Setup a child theme, change to it and customise it as a way forward.

    If this does not fix your problem, then get back here and someone will sort out another first step.

    @rossmitchell Thank you for this explanation but I have create now wordpress site and install wootique theme and try to add new post no error appear but when I add WooCommerce and try to add new post the error appear this is what I do without make any change on theme.
