# Uncaught SyntaxError: JSON.parse:

 * I’ve been having intermittent problems with the filter not working when doing
   a search. It’s combing through a pretty standard list of ACF fields, nothing 
   too fancy. If I clear the cache it’ll sometimes fix the issue, but it seems to
   appear again eventually. The only error I see in the console is:
 * Firefox: Uncaught SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column
   2 of the JSON data
 * Chrome/Edge: VM148:1 Uncaught SyntaxError: “[object Object]” is not valid JSON
 * This only started happening after migrating the website from a staging domain
   to the live one.

 * Hi solutioinc (@solutioinc),
 * The issue is almost certainly caused by caching. Please try excluding the page
   where the filter is located from the cache. If object cache is enabled, it should
   also be excluded and cleared. This should resolve the issue.
 * The next version of the plugin will also address this intermittent problem.

 * Thank you. I’ve added a cache exclusion for the page, so we’ll see how that goes.
