As of this AM every page is producing this error in multiples. It seems that any plugin that needs jQuery is broken. At this point, I’m not sure why, its been working for months.

I am told, and looking for confirmation of “what”, that the server received updates last night.

    Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS
    PHP 7.0.15-0ubuntu0.16.04.2

I have to assume its a direct connection, but I’m lost as to what updates would have affected the jQuery.

I’m open to any suggestions on what to look info.

  • And found it (as always 5 min after you post).

There was 1 plugin that needed updated, but I didn’t want to update it in fear it would compound the issue at hand. In retrospect, I should have.

Turns out, the fine print of version 2.9.9 “Page Links To” reads “Back out jQuery protection code that causes issues on some sites”

Version 2.9.8 wasn’t causing any issues with our site before, but something between last night and this AM, suddenly did. Moving to 2.9.9 and the site no longer produces any jQuery errors.
