    I still have a Wysiwyg problem, causing by Jetpack (when deactivating error is gone). I get this error in the console: Uncaught ReferenceError: grunionEditorView is not defined.

    This causes the fact that I can’t use de tinymce editor.
    here is the screenshot with the blanc editor: http://www.webinnovations.be/tinymce.png

  • Getting the same error, but we are only seeing it on posts or user profiles with ACF Wysiwyg fields. It causes the ACF Wysiwyg fields to show up as regular text area fields.

    Also, this might be causing some saving issues on user profiles that have ACF fields.

    Deactivating Jetpack fixes the issue, but the clients site is using quite a few Jetpack features, so that is not really a viable solution for us.

    I’m having the same problem. It is caused by Jetpack contact forms.

    It happens in areas where wp_editor() is used outside the post/page editing screens.

    Any solution?

    Hi!

    @rbergeron81 & @contrid, indeed same for me!
    I found a solution by George Stephanis.

    First: you have to create a disable-grunion-editor-view.php file in your /wp-content/plugins folder.

    Add this part of code in it:

    <?php

    /*
     * Plugin Name: Disable Jetpack Contact Form Editor View
     * Plugin URI: https://jetpack.com
     * Description: Disables the new Jetpack Contact Form Editor View.
     * Author: George Stephanis
     * Version: 1.0
     * Author URI: https://stephanis.info
     * License: GPL2+
     */

    add_filter( 'tmp_grunion_allow_editor_view', '__return_false' );

    Go in the admin panel to plugins & activate the plugin “Disable Jetpack Contact Form Editor View”.

    This will deactivate the new contact form editor. But You still can add contact forms like the old version (with the code between []).

    Right now I’m waiting for a new Jetpack or ACF (Pro) version that will be compatible with the contact form editor … I will let you know here if the error is gone with the ACF wysiwyg field!

    I tried out your code (Disable Jetpack Contact Form Editor View), and it apparently worked (the editors worked), but your code text (the content of the .php file) was displayed above the header on my website. So I had to deactivate and delete.

    Not sure what I did wrong, but I’d appreciate any advice…

    your code text (the content of the .php file) was displayed above the header on my website.

    Could you let us know where you had pasted that code in the first place? I’d recommend adding it to a functionality plugin like this one:
