If the page URL contains a apostrophe the plugin produces an error that is not caught.

Our site doesn’t generally use the apostrophe but it can be browsed to organically. Is there a hook I should use so I can wrap this in a try/catch?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Can you make a test? Go to plugin settings and set the “Highlight selector(s)” option value to:

    #nothing

Save changes and test the page for console errors.

You won’t be able to use plugin’s highlight feature on URLs with an apostrophe.

I’ll try to push a fix for this asap.

I’ll post here when I have a fix implemented in plugin’s development version which will be part of the next version (1.6.5)

    Hello again,

I’ve just pushed the fix in plugin’s development version. You can download it here:

    https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/page-scroll-to-id.zip

Replace your current plugin version with the one above and reset the “Highlight selector(s)” option (remove the previous value). Save changes and check your page. It should have no errors.

    Let me know

Looks good. Installed in staging and cleared the settings and cache. No errors.

    Thanks. I’ll update production.

Great, thanks for the feedback 🙂

This fix will be part of the next release. FYI using development version does not affect updating the plugin. When version 1.6.5 is released, you can update it as you normally do.
