# Uncaught Error: no such method 'instance' for menu widget instance

 * I am editing one of my pages using visual composer. when i go to edit the post
   grids , it doesn’t load and stays blank so i can edit my post grids on my page.
   on google chrome i check Inspect Element and i see this error : Uncaught Error:
   no such method ‘instance’ for menu widget instance
 * how do i fix this issue? i have updated my plugins. is this visual composer? 
   visual composer comes with my theme that i purchased on theme forest. i also 
   notice i can’t edit anymore on my backend with visual composer

 * Try:
    – deactivating ALL plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem(
   plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually(
   one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s). – If that does not resolve the
   issue, try switching to the unedited default Twenty Fifteen theme for a moment
   using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions 
   can interfere like plugins).

 * i deactivated my plugins and found the problem!! now my visual composer works
   normally!! thank you
