  • If you just want to get around it for the time being maybe set your permissions to 777 in the csv import directory in an ftp program. It worked for me but would need to be changed back every time for security reasons. Maybe your host needs to lessen their restrictions as they can play havoc with wordpress plugins, images, everything that files and folders need to be accessed by you for. From what I gather when things like this happen it is as you are not being given access to ‘write’ in the folder whcih can only be got around by changing permissions.

    I tried opening up all permissions, and it still failed – I ended up using this mo’ fo’ https://github.com/xube/Woocommerce-CSV-import and now I have to add product photos manually. at least the pages made it over.
