"Unable to write to your .htaccess or nginx.conf file." since latest update

“Unable to write to your .htaccess or nginx.conf file. If the problem persists contact support.”

I’ve had this since the latest update and i can confirm that nothing writes to the htaccess file. I’ve checked the read write execute settings on the file which are 644 as normal
