Unable to write to mu-plugins

    When I try to enable the mu-plugin I get an error:

    IP Location Block: Unable to write /home/site/public_html/wp-content/mu-plugins/!ip-location-block-mu.php. Please check the permission.

    The permissions for the mu-plugins folder are 755. I have also tried 777 and manually uploading ip-location-block-mu.php, but I still get the same error.

    Do you know why this might be happening?

    Thanks! I’m keen to see how it improves my sites. So far it has been easy to set up and seems to be doing its job 🙂
