• Hi, I use screaming frog to check if I duplicate URLs, etc in my wordpress website. I found that there are some links that have the foll format Domain/Category/Page/2 and Domain/Category/Page/3. These seem to be linking to existing posts that already have proper URLs Domain/Category/PostTitle.

When I check the title of these ambiguous links I see the post title with the Archives on them. I am not sure how they have got created. They are invisible in my posts list. I wonder if there is a way for me to view these from the admin panel.

  • Archive pages are created on demand by WordPress but they cannot be indexed unless you are providing links for them. Also, the situation you describe above is not “duplicate content” as defined by Google.
