• Hi Facebook.

I’m having an issue verifying the Facebook Pixel on my site. I’ve gone through the setup instructions multiple times (multiple times using the WordPress plugin and other times just trying to do it manually by adding code into the header). Nothing seems to be working and I don’t know why.

    Troubleshooting so far:
    1) Installed the plugin and added the Pixel ID along with the token I generated – can’t verify
    2) Tried adding the code manually to the header – can’t verify
    3) Tried going back through the instructions multiple times – can’t verify
    4) Tried adding the code through the backend, through CPanel and within the file manager – can’t verify

I’m using the most updated version of both WordPress and the plugin and also followed the instructions to make sure the new plugin was activated properly. I’m also have the site set up under WordPress multisite but only using my unique Pixel ID for only one site.

I could use a little help here. Thanks!

  • Hi @lambdelivery – did you ever get this working? I’m stuck at the “Verify that your pixel is working correctly” stage of the setup. Facebook events manager just says “No activity yet”

I can see a couple of messages where people say they’ve had problems and then mysteriously the plugin started communicating with Facebook after a few hours. Is this just the way it works for everyone?

I’ve also uninstalled and reinstalled FB pixel plugin, and tried going back through the instructions several times. No activity recorded.

I’m using a WordPress hosted website, with PHP version 7.4

We are having the same issue. So it seems like this doesn’t really work on multisite. But we hope the plugin still adds the code and registers the events.
