Support » Fixing WordPress » Unable to upload. You have used the allowed storage quota!

  • I am running a buddypress. The wordpress is hosted by a webhost that does not have any storage quota limits. I checked and I’m only using a few hundred megs out of their 9999.99 MB limit…

Anything I find about removing this limit, pulls results for hosted pages. Mine is not.

Can anyone please tell me how to remove this limit? I have checked my settings and I cannot find a dashboard option for this (or I am just blind).

I do not want to use the “quota per user” plugin, as it will be a pointless plugin as I want no limits, period.

  • Hi,
    1. Are you using multisite?
    2. Is this error appearing in the dashboard uploader?

just the one site, and no errors in dashboard…. I guess this would make it a buddypress issue… sorry…

Is there any chance that you are using MediaPress and the error is coming from Gallery media(photo etc upload) ?

    Thank you

I am using mediapress as well, but the forums I search on that lead me back to either buddypress or wordpress… I see no setting in mediapress for any limits.

i’m blind and an idioot…. i found it.. so sorry and thank you very much for responding

Not an issue. We all miss it some of the times. I am glad you found it.
All the best with your project 🙂
