Unable to upload photos

    Before WordPress 4, I had been able to upload photos from both the iOS app and from a browser. But now I’ve only been able to upload an image with the max width or height at 1000px. So far I’ve reinstalled, manually and site re-stall, 4.1.1. I’m on a shared hosting plan from 1&1. PHP 5.5.

    Was there any error message that you are getting?

    Just a standard “Error <file name> An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.”

    There are no plugins running.

    The upload folder’s permissions is 755.
