This is a great plugin but there is no excuse for a developer to not answer some simple questions. If your going to develop a plugin be responsible and give adequate support.

I have solved this so here what you need to check:

    1. Create your custom pin it button in a png format
    2. Upload your custom pin it button
    3. Click on the picture once uploaded
    4. Link URL to “Link To Image”
    5. Insert into post
    6. Save
    7. Now roll over photo and you should see custom pin it button

    Hope this helps others.

Thank you kymora for the response! Your trick totally works and I’m glad I found this before completely giving up and using a different plug-in 🙂

    hi kymora!

i’ve been trying to figure how to work this, but still unable to get it to work. what do you mean by “click on the picture once uploaded” & link URL to “Link to Image”?

After uploading the image, I come to the “Upload a Pin It Button!” window. At this point, do I click on the actual image uploaded, which will take me to another page and then copy/paste the URL from that page into the “Link URL” section of the window or do it type in “Link to Image” in the Link URL section of the window?

    Thank you for your help!
