• I have tried for three weeks to upload images to my website and blog. When I try to upload a new picture for a slider on my site I get an error message saying, “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.” I cannot change my theme either because I get the same error message when I try to look at all the themes.
When I go to the media library on my dashboard the pictures I attempted to upload are there, it just won’t let me upload them under Theme options.
I’ve contacted my host, cleared out all history and everything but nothing is working.
It looks like it just isn’t able to upload anything.
I thought it may be my laptop because I use a Chromebook but I tried it on a PC and got the same problem. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  • An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later this usually is some PHP errors/warning,

The upload is performed as an ajax request so you need to get to console F12 and look for Network tab then upload an image and look for the last request type xhr, click on it and you will see the error.

Perhaps a file permissions problem on the server. Ask the host to check folders are 0755 and files are 0644
