Thought it was something I did.
Made several backups, unactivated BPS, didn’t help.
Have more work to do, so will just leave active and move
on.

We will post an update when the issue is resolved. Apparently the BPS plugin is not the only plugin affected by this issue. I randomly checked downloading other WP plugins and all of the plugins I checked downloaded fine. So this issue only affects some plugins and not other plugins.

Hey guys,
I don’t think this is something we can fix. The problem occurred when the new Plugin Directory site was rolled out several days ago. We contacted the appropriate WP folks when this problem started days ago and they informed us that they are aware of the problem on their end with the new Plugin Directory site and this is something they need to fix and something that we cannot fix. We don’t want to bother them right now because we know they are extremely busy working on several other more important issues with the new Plugin Directory site. 😉

Ok so the WP folks were kind enough to give me a status update even though they are extremely busy with other issues with the new Plugin Directory site. The official word is that the WP folks are waiting on someone who has Admin access rights/priviledges to the Nginx server to fix the issue. So until that can be done by someone with Nginx Admin permissions then there is nothing the WP plugin folks can do or that I can do regarding this issue. 😉

As of today I am getting “Update Failed: Download failed. Not Found” on all my plugins that need updated. It started when I got an error on BPS saying to run the Setup Wizards (which I did). Now I cannot get my plugins. To bad there isn’t a way to D/L the update, then tell the site where to find it on my computer and run the update. Currently the failed updates are for “Fast Secure reCAPTCHA” and “Flowplayer HTML5 for WordPress”
