    Relevanssi never asks for SFTP credentials. If your web hosting account doesn’t have disk access, WordPress will ask for SFTP credentials in order to install the plugin. That has nothing to do with Relevanssi, and everything to do with your WP and hosting settings. That’s why WP can’t remove the plugin: it doesn’t have write access.
