[Resolved] unable to show thumbnail

  • My cache directory is set to 777
    I have GD installed
    I have PHP 5.3.19
    $instance[‘thumbnail’][‘active’] does not returns true.
Most likely It has to return true in order to show the thumbnail. What do I have to do? I am not using the sidebar widget, I am using the template tag. I set it from admin to take the first image from the post. No image is showing, not even the default one.

    Thank you

  • Solved the problem by specifying the width of the thumbnail. $instance[‘thumbnail’][‘active’] became 1. By default the width was 0.
Now I have another problem. It seems that the thumbnail showed is the second image of the post, not the first one and the image is very blury

    Hi there,

The issue about WPP picking the second image has been fixed on the development version. An official update will come pretty soon, so please feel free to try the development version or wait until the update is available for download.

By the way, I’m marking this as resolved since the OP has been fixed already by you.
