Unable to set Homepage causes Oops error

    I am running the latest version of Spacious theme 1.9.9 and am unable to set the home page. I have manually updated the theme this morning

    I can set and publish it in the theme customisation but it always display “Oops! That page can’t be found” no matter which page I choose.

    Whichever page I set to the homepage shows this error if I try to view it the page from the WP dashboard but when i select a different page I can then view that original home page with no problem from the dashboard, so the pages are ok

    Whatever page I select as the homepage is somehow causing a problem
