Unable to set featured image and images in post

    Hello. After migration to another hosting and updating WP to version 6.1.1 an issue occur. When I try to set featured image for post – it’s uploaded to multimedia library successfully, but after I check it – it doesn’t appear in post edition interface.
    As well as adding media file into post body just insert -tag without any src-attribute.
    It might be some corruption after migration, but I’ve checked everything and nothing helped.

    Did You use a plugin to migrate the site

    No, I’ve just copied all files, dump database and then uploaded all the thing at new hosting.
    Everything seems working except featured images and images in posts.

    Did you dump the schema for the database as well. If you didn’t you are going to have a lot problems updating different things. If you still have the old site you might want try using a plugin to copy everything.

    Unfortunately, old host is dead, so I can’t recreate a dump.
    How can I check if my database is correct? I’ve checked it with some plugins, but none of them shown any problems.

    If you are having problems editing and updating your old post. You database schema probably wasn’t updated correctly. The tables wouldn’t be linked together correctly. You would still see the post but all the meta data would be gone. I did it once but still had the old database. I was able to delete the database and recreate it again. I’m not really sure how you would recreate the schema again.
