Hi @perryb, thanks for getting in touch and explaining your issue. I’d be happy to help look into this so to do so, please could you share the following:
- Your Site Health information for one of the impacted sites. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
- Do you encounter the same when trying from a Chrome incognito window?
Once you have shared the above, I can help suggest some next steps for you which may include some troubleshooting steps to find a potential conflict that may be causing this.
If you have any questions about this, then please let me know.

Hi @adamdunnage thank you. I’ve posted on the form. Just for info I’m having the same issue with two other sites.
Thanks for sharing the information. While I can’t see anything that stands out here, could you please try following the troubleshooting steps in this guide. If you no longer face the issue while in troubleshooting mode with just Site Kit active, then this points to the issue being the result of a conflict.
If we rule this out and you still see the issue then let me know and we can continue to troubleshoot this further with you. Let me know if you have any questions on the troubleshooting steps.

No joy sadly. I’ve uploaded this short clip to give a better idea what my issue is:

@perryb Thanks for sharing, I understand the issue you face. It would be interesting to see if you face the same issue when testing using this URL. This will create a temporary test WordPress site for you with Site Kit pre-installed. Please could you try setting up Site Kit on this site and let me know if you encounter the same as you do on your own website?

Thanks for taking the time. Unfortunately the link doesn’t work for me I get a recaptcha check failure. I tried switching off my vpn as instructed by the error message too.
@perryb That’s unfortunate that the link does not work for you. Another option for creating a temporary test site would be InstaWP. You can create a free temp test site which you can install Site Kit on for testing this to see if you encounter the same issue with the drop downs.
It would be good if you could do this as if you don’t encounter the same issue then this would point to an issue at host/server level.
As we didn’t receive a response I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to assist.
