• Hi,
I’ve recently upgraded to WP 3.7.1.
Since then, when I add a media in a new article, the media library is empty, and when I try to upload a new media, I have an error saying that an error occurred in the upload of the media.

But I can able to see the images in media library. The only issue is the media library shows empty only form the “add media”

    I have re-installed WP 3.7.1.

But still i’m not able to see the images in the media library by clicking “Add media” from the page.

I checked the file permissions, it was set to rwx-r-xr-x.

I have uninstalled and deleted the unused plugins too.
But the issue didnt resolved yet.

May i know what could cause this issue?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.
