Support » Theme: Customizr » Unable to save due to 3 invalid settings.

  • I’ve been trying to change theme on my site to Customizr. After making the adaptions I want via Live preview and clicking Publish i a presented with an error.

Unable to save due to 3 invalid settings. (This has been various different numbers)

It then takes me to the Menu tab so assume its menu related, but regardless of the changes I make the message remains.

    Your help would be apreciated

  • Hi there,
do you mean invalid settings in the Additional CSS?

I’m using the Live Preview mode.

My skills are very limited so know very little about Css settings I’m afraid.

Guys, any luck with the “Unable to save due to 1 invalid setting” problem?
    I’m dying here 🙁

    Thanks in advance.

@3z43, try disabling any add ins you installed related to your theme.
Solved the problem for me in case of the Hueman theme.

I’m having the same issue. Using Astra Pro theme with Elementor. Editing the Footer Widget padding, and when I went to Publish, it gave me the “Unable to save due to 1 invalid setting” error, and indicated “Invalid value” in one or more of the padding values. However, it doesn’t specify which one(s) and no matter what values I enter I get the same error. I can’t fathom deactivating themes or plug-ins every time something like this happens. Please help or refer me to someone who can. Thanks!

The solution for this kind of error is to check your widgets. For Example:- a facebook page like widget have the same problem. Because when you check the Custom HTML lines of code, hover your mouse on the “x” sign in the left side and you will see, Capital letter is not allowed in the code attribution.

    Hope it helps someone.

I encounter this when I try to “Activate and Publish” in the Customizer, after changing themes in the Customizer.

I have no CSS set, and it’s a clean installation with no plugins active.

However, I can change themes by going to Appearance > Themes.

    No idea what’s the issue.

Just in case anyone may find this useful. For me, it turned out that in Settings> Reading> Your Home Page Displays:

If you choose Static, the values for Homepage and Posts page MUST be different. Once I changed this, the error went away!
