# Unable to save drafts

 * I’m experiencing a problem akin to that of [this thread](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/131476),
   and was wondering if the WordPress developers are aware of this.
 * Despite not touching any setting recently, I found out a couple of days ago that
   I had lost the ability to save existing posts. While I can make a new post from
   the Write -> Post dialog, any attempt at editing the post usually ends in Firefox
   saying “The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.” Auto-
   save seems to be gimped so badly that it hangs during the process, leaving me
   with a “Saving Draft…” notification next to the Save And Continue Editing button.
 * Everything else in my blog is working fine, so I’m at my wits end as to what’s
   causing this. Using the .htaccess solution didn’t quite work either, as I’d make
   a .htaccess file with aforementioned text inserted, upload it to my FTP, and 
   promptly watch it disappear.
