    I am having a problem connecting my store to my Google Merchant Center account. Every time I try to connect I get the message “Unable to retrieve Google Center account status”. I checked the Woocommerce logs, and there I found something like this:

    I have worodpress version 5.9.3 and woocommerce is version 6.4.1. google listings and ads plugin is version 1.12.5

    Could you please go to this page on your website https://site.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=connection-test-admin-page and follow this screenshot to disconnect the Google account and also the Merchant center one?

    Replace site.com with your actual domain name.


    After doing that, please try the setup process again.

    If it fails, could you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it here in your response. You can also use https://pastebin.com/

    Unfortunately I cannot disconnect my site from my google account, I get this message:

    Thanks for the additional report of the disconnect error. We are looking into this issue to see what we can do to get it resolved.

    Based on previous reports for the same error, it seems they could get around it by creating a new merchant account when onboarding, instead of selecting an existing merchant account. Let us know if that works for you.

    Yes, indeed deleting the current account and creating a new one helped. I’m still having problems loading the correct data into GMC, but that’s another topic.
