Backup was getting corrupted. Tried again, restored successfully using this plugin.
Then I did file permission reset
chown -R www-data:www-data /var/www/ && sudo chmod -R 755 /var/www
Now, all is set. Thanks
Hi @thegulshankumar
It seems that the download from the remote storage failed. Please wait a while then try again.
If the problem still persists, please try to download the backup to localhost (web server) via the plugin’s backup list then restore it.
All the best,
The remote backup location was Google Drive, isn’t reliable enough to download in one go?
Thank you for the update!
Hi @thegulshankumar
Sometimes a network problem during the download process can also cause the incomplete download.
All the best,
Okay, Cool. Just curious, does this plugin uses below approach for background task? I guess it can be faster than using native cron for all other regular tasks that plugin performs.

Hi @thegulshankumar
WPvivid uses wp-cron for background task.
Applications at the php level are not responsible for creating processes. Ordinary web hosts also do not give that permission. So this is not something that a php plugin needs to deal with.
But thanks for asking and giving the information!
All the best,
