Unable to Restore

I’m having trouble restoring from my BackWPUp backup on the current version of word press. I made sure WP and all of the plugins were up to date before running my backup. I installed WP on the new hosting server, installed BackWPUp, copied all of the files over except the wp-config. Restored the DB under Tools and then deleted the SQL file. When I load the site all of the plugins are there but deactivated and while my posts, pages and media are in the wp-content folder they do not show up in the dashboard. It looks like some sort of issue with the DB import or backup to me but I am stumped. I’m really in a bind to get the site moved as GoDaddy’s performance has been terrible the past several weeks and I need to get the site over to the new host. Can anyone help?
