Unable to recover admin password

    I forget my admin password, I try to recover it. I tried follwoing methods.

    1. I tried to update value in user_pass field in database, but it doesn’t helped.
    2. I tried WP-Cli too, but it gives following error:

    Can’t you just click on the link for Forgotten password on the login form?

    Emergency Password Reset Script gives following output, but password is not changed:

    Your password has been successfully changed

    An e-mail with this information has been dispatched to the WordPress blog administrator

    You should now delete this file off your server. DO NOT LEAVE IT UP FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO FIND!

    plaidshirt, when you changed your password in the database, did you choose the ‘md5’ function from the dropdown?

    You don’t tell us your site url, but is there any possibility your site has been compromised?
