Your login here has *nothing to do* with your login on your own web site.

This article lists 7 completely different ways to reset your website password. Any one of them will work and do the job. Find the one that’s right for you and use that: https://wordpress.org/support/article/resetting-your-password/

Thank you for your response. This is my first time working with WordPress.org and I am clearly not fully understanding how it works. None of those 7 options are applicable to my website besides the automatic emailer, but it does not recognize my account. I used the same login credentials I always have to no avail.

Am I incorrect in thinking the login credentials I should enter in for the auto emailer account recover option should be the same credentials used to login to my website previously?

Please contact your host to find out how to login to your hosting control panel. Few of the options in the article I linked require logging in to WP itself.

@nickshank You seem confused about accounts.

We’re not Facebook. There is no centralized set of “accounts” anywhere in WordPress. Each website is an island, with its own accounts.

Your WordPress site’s accounts only work there. Not here on WordPress.org, not on WordPress.com, but just there.

That link Steve gave you earlier gives you 7 different possible ways to fix the account problems on your site, and which you use depends on what access you do have to the site. You may have access through your hosting service, and then 2 or 3 of those would apply.

But the bottom line is that WordPress is only software which runs on your website, it is not your actual total website. We don’t have any control over it whatsoever. You need to speak with your hosting company, the people you pay money to in order to have the site up and running, and find out how to access the files on your site directly.
