Unable to reach any Shareaholic server

    Hi,
    I am facing the following error from long time. Kindly help me to fix it. Thanks

    “It appears that we are having some trouble setting up Shareaholic for WordPress right now. This is usually temporary. Please revisit this section after a few minutes or click “retry” now.”

    After I go to “Advance Settings” and there I got following error:
    “Unable to reach any Shareaholic server”

    kindly let me know if its possible to fix it?

    Hi there,

    Thank you for reaching out to us! Could you try to “re-check” the button and see if it fixes the issue? Another thing you might want to check is if you have a firewall set up? Please provide us with your website URL as well if possible so we can further help you troubleshoot this issue.

    Yes I recheck but its not working. Actually I am not too sure about firewall, how to check.

    Hi there,

    You can simply contact your the hosting company and double check with them if they are blocking Shareaholic with any firewalls they got set up.

    Yes you can show those instructions/information to your host to double check if they are blocking us unintentionally.

    Let us know what they said so we can further troubleshoot if needed.

    Hi,
    Sorry for replying late. I am hosting with hosting24.com and I have contact them through live chat and they replied me with this “I have whitelisted these IPs and disabled ModSecurity for your account. Please try now.” and then I checked again but issue is same and now they ask me open a ticket. Actually before this plugin was working fine and I am using it from long time but suddenly this error came out. Let’s see 🙂
