Unable to publish new page

    I am new to wordpress and am not particularly computer savvy ie not familiar with html codes etc. My new web designer transferred the files of my original website to wordpress as he said the CMS is easier to us than the previous one to which I no longer have access. I have had no problem editing existing pages but I added a new page, clicked on “publish” and it is not appearing online, however, the new page shows when I click on “pages” as having been published. The website is http://www.drpaesthetics.co.uk

    Also how do I go about creating a link for the new page on the existing pages?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Your site is using a custom menu for its main navigation menu, so you you will need to add the new page to this menu manually.

    Thank you Esmi. My web designer sorted it out for me but it is useful for me to know how to update my website myself.

    @ Esmi, I logged into the dashboard, but instead of seeing any of the things referred to from your link, I only see “at a glance”, “activity”, “quick draft” and “wordpress news”, there is nothing about menus etc.

    I look forward to further advice please.

    Can you see menu items on the left hand side of your admin area? Are you sure that you have the correct admin privileges?

    The web designer just updated my admin rights so things should be OK from now on.
