I have tried to navigate to a single page editor with the visual customizer but the plugin just loads forever.

I can navigate to the list of pages and all other dashboard links fine. I was trying to limit editor features on the home page editor so other users can update content without risking messing up the home page layout.

Thank you for the report. Unfortunately, so far I haven’t been able to reproduce the problem on a test site.

Are you using the regular post/page editor that comes with WordPress, or a third-party editor or page builder of some kind? What steps did you take when trying to access the editor (e.g. which links or buttons did you click)?

Also, when the plugin seems to be loading forever, please check the JS console for error messages. Here’s how to open the console:
