I’m building a site on http://www.whiskersandpaws.co.uk/ using the excellent Hueman theme.

I would like the balloons on the page background to be visible on the page, but only partly transparent. I have tried all the suggestions I can find, but either the background fades (#page), or if I do get the balloons on the page, the child page files are semi transparent as well. #page.container-inner

I want the pictures and text at no transparency and the page background at maybe 0.5.

    Is this possible?

    Appreciate any help.

    John

  • Hi,

Currently .main has a white background color, which is why you cannot see the balloons. You should remove the white background color ( set it to none ) and use a semi-transparent background image for .main, so that you can see the balloons underneath..

You need to use a desktop application such as pixelmator or photoshop to create a semi-transparent white png image and use it as a background image for .main

If you use css opacity it will affect everything including the text and image, which will make it look faded.

    Thank you.

Thank you for your help Denzel Chia. I was trying to find a solution in the page section, which was just not working. I can fix it now.

    Thanks again,
