Hello @fitnessinfoindia
1. Make sure that your server meets these requirements
2. Login to your C-Panel and navigate to plugin to see if there’s Woocommerce directory is exist. Delete em if yes.

Previously I wasn’t sure of my WordPress size so I increased it right now, but still, I am unable to install it. I meet all the other requirements.
Hi there,
Do you have the text/content of that Critical error that you are seeing when installing WooCommerce?
If you check under WooCommerce > Status > Logs, are there any entries in the dropdown for fatal-errors
? If so, please copy them and paste them here as well.

I dont have woocommerce on my wordpress. Where can I find woocommerce > status > logs?? But, I have got fatal errors messages while installing before.
Ah yes, of course without Woo installed you won’t have that menu item — sorry about that!
If you reach out to your hosting company, do they have any PHP error logs from the time that you tried to install WooCommerce?
Also, if you check under wp-content/uploads/wc-logs
on the server, does that folder exist, and are there any fatal-error
logs there?
Most often, critical/fatal errors when installing WooCommerce will be caused by conflicts with other active plugins, or code in the active theme. Please try temporarily deactivating all other plugins, and switch to the Storefront theme, then see if you are able to install WooCommerce.

Hi there,
Thank you for providing those.
Did you have a chance to do that conflict testing I mentioned?
Please try deactivating all other active plugins, and switch to the Storefront theme.
After that, download a fresh copy of the plugin from https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce/
Next, try manually installing the plugin via FTP as described here:
https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-manually-update-wordpress-plugins-via-ftp/
If the WooCommerce folder already exists under wp-content/plugins/
, then delete it before you try to install the fresh copy.
Please let me know how that goes, or if you have any questions!
Hi @fitnessinfoindia. We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved. Please start a new thread if you have further questions.
