Unable to update to Version 4.6.1

    Hi,

    I have tried to install WordPress.org Version 4.6.1 and Plugin Updates. The following error message comes up:
    Update WordPress
    Unable to locate WordPress root directory.

    Installation Failed

    The error message with the Plugin updates is:
    Unable to locate WordPress content directory (wp-content).

    I have also tried to install the WordPress update manually and it was unsuccessful.

    Hoping someone can help.

    Try defining the constant in wp-config.php – WP_CONTENT_DIR – [[Determining_Plugin_and_Content_Directori‌​es]]
