  • First, I’m unable to install plugins from a theme installation (recommended plugin “Matisse addons” for theme “Matisse”. I’m getting this error:

    You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.

    But I’m able to install plugins normally from WordPress repository.

    Secondly, I tried to delete my two unused sites (I used them for development for a client, but I don’t need it anymore). One of them got deleted, but the other still appears in the list of sites:

    www.thefeathers.in/bluecubedev - Deleted
    Edit | Dashboard | Activate | Unarchive | Spam | Delete | Visit

    It says it’s deleted, but still remains on the list and the site is fully functional and dashboard is accessible. Please help me out guys.

    I’m sorry to hear that you are having these issues. May I ask please are you on the network site when you try to add/delete the plugin or add/delete the site?

    I ask this because on a multisite install the network site is like the boss. You have to go to the boss to get things done. On the network site, you can create and delete new sites. A plugin or theme must also first be installed on a network site and then it will be available for use on a subsite. Does this make sense?

    Hi restezedigital,

    I’m 100% positive that I’m on the network site. The admin url is
    http://www.thefeathers.in/wp-admin/network

    To be clear, I am able to install themes and plugins normally. But unable to install a ‘recommended plugin’ immediately after installing a theme.

    Also I deleted two sites, of which one was deleted and disappeared from the list; and the other was marked deleted but wasn’t removed from the list. The dashboard of the second site still works, and the site itself is still up:

    I tried completely disabling all plugins and doing the same, but the problem persists.

    Let’s start with the plugin, have you tried to install it manually? Upload the file to your server using FTP, unzip the file and move it to /wp-content/plugins/

    When I tried to access http://www.thefeathers.in/bluecubedev/ it was unavailable. When you deleted the site, did you deactivate all the installed plugins on that site before deleting it?

    If you did this then you may need to remove the site manually, but try that first.
