Unable to import WordPress eXtended RSS.

    Hi,
    I just setup WP and it seems that I am unable to import WordPress eXtended RSS.
    I go to “Tools -> import -> Word Press” and after file selection and click on “Upload file and import” nothing happens …

    PHP Version 5.3.15
    MySQL 5.6.12

    Any help would be appreciated.

    There’s hardly anything in that file, just one post. Is that all you intended to export?

    That’s not all, it is just a sample file which I tried to import and failed.
    At first I thought there may be something wrong with the XML file so I tried with simple one and it did not work also.

    What do you mean by a “simple one”? Was this also generated from Tools -> Export in the old blog’s Dashboard?
