This plugin worked for me last year but now I’m having the same problem as this thread https://wordpress.org/support/topic/unable-to-import-csv/.

Tried everything from that thread including exporting the current file and trying to load back in. The problem is that the “Select Input File:” box never gets populated with the file name. It’s in the media library but I can’t select it to populate the box either.

Am trying to update products in the wp_wp_eStore_tbl

All plugins are disabled and I am on WP 5.7.2.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks!

Okay, the docs for this plugin do not seem to be up to date or there is another set of docs somewhere. Here’s what I finally figured to make this work.

Select “Upload”, “OK” (might take a couple of clicks on OK) and upload csv file. Once uploaded go to Media Library and select “All Types”. Select “Show” on the file you want to import. Click on “File URL”, highlight URL, copy, close out box and paste File URL into “Select Input File” box.

Phew! What a pain in the butt to figure out and I did not have to go through this the last time I updated my products in October of 2020.

    That’s “Media Library” tab.

Hi, I carried out a test in my dev site. This is what I did to insert a csv file.

    1) Click on Upload button.
    2) Click on Select Files.
    3) Select the csv file you want to insert from your computer/laptop.
    4) Click on Open button.
    5) Click on File URL button.
    6) Click on Insert into Post button.

    Thank you.

Thank you but unfortunately that was not exactly the behavior I was getting. The instructions within the plugin and on the website are not clear at all on the procedure, or prompts, that one should expect after clicking on the Upload button. Screenshots, or a clearer explanation would help.

I’m not complaining as the plugin works great. I would happily pay for it!
