    Hello,

    Your Plugin is great.
Everything is working smoothly, except I am unable to use recaptcha.

I enter the correct Site and Secret Keys. And I get unable to verify error.
I have tried with different key pairs.

    Any Idea about this?

  • Okay, I just read this under Troubleshooting on your site:

If you see the message “Request to the Google reCAPTCHA service failed”, that means that your web server is unable to connect to external servers. Ask hosting provider for this issue. Sometimes hosting providers block outgoing HTTP requests from websites.

But the thing is I am also using Gravity forms, and it also uses ReCaptcha which works perfectly. So does a conflict between these 2 plugins be the problem? How to solve it?

Do you see that message Request to the Google reCAPTCHA service failed on Activity tab?
Conflict is guaranteed if you set up and see two reCAPTCHA widget on the same page. Even if you have two different forms. That is just a limitation of the service, not plugins.

    Hi @gioni
    Thanks for replying back.

Yes, I do see that message in the Activity Tab as well.

And Yes, I can understand that. But inside the admin panel, shouldn’t it work? Considering there are no other forms here!

Also, the reCaptcha in Gravity Forms is being used in the Contact Us Page only.
While I am trying the WP Cerber’s Recaptcha to work on wp-login.php

    Is this conflict possible?

That means that your hosting provider has blocked using PHP function file_get_contents() for requesting URLs. Could you inspect your Apache error.log file for related error messages?

    Right on!

For others who face this problem, you need to enable allow_url_fopen from your WHM or by editing the php.ini

@gioni, if this plugin had a pro version. I would happily purchase it.
    Great Job!

    @gioni and @rohitink,

I think it possibly has to do with the fact that the plugin is using file_get_contents() PHP function to retrieve URLs instead of using the WordPress HTTP API.

I just finished the support thread on this, so perhaps take a look. When that is fixed, it will likely resolve the reCaptcha issues.
