    hi there,

    I’ve installed and configured the plugin, and for the most part it works – I have been able to inserts a paid-for classified, show listings etc.

    However NOTHING works on the email side of things :
    – no email received for new listings
    – no email sent/received for a listing being approved
    – no email sent when I sent an email as a test subject from a live listing (page http://thesimplewebinarcompany.co.uk/lefrenchlist/rtcl_listing/test-2/ )

    This is on a test site, and the email address set at the admin email address is not on the same domain. It is my main business email (which works fine, set up through Gsuite)

    How can this be resolved please?

    Hello,

    Thanks for using our plugin.

    We use default WP mail to send email from all emails. First can you please check is the email receive fields are checked in Settings => Email https://prnt.sc/pyiup6

    Can you please check your server PHP email? Is it work?

    Hi there,

    I ran some PHP on the server to test the email settings . (using this article in case anyone else has this error : https://stackoverflow.com/questions/3889439/how-to-check-if-php-mail-is-enabled)

    Hello,

    Yes mail sending is normally server-related issue as my server is working and other users using our plugins & themes. Don’t get complain from others.

    Plugin last time updated 2+ months ago.

    Hello again,

    I’ve now resolved the email issue on the server – however, I’m hitting another issue as the emails don’t appear to go to the correct recipient.

    1) I have the following settings set up : https://www.screencast.com/t/MVrye3E0T – on this screenshot you can see that I have my email set to hello@ and I do NOT want to receive a copy of emails sent to the owner of a classified advert.

    2) here you can see, within the listing, I have the email set to a completely different email : https://www.screencast.com/t/SFspCtlk4SaE

    3) when I send an email from the test list at http://thesimplewebinarcompany.co.uk/lefrenchlist/rtcl_listing/test-2/ (as shown here : https://www.screencast.com/t/PZxequ5ccq ) it comes to my ADMIN email hello@ and does not get sent to the email set up in the actual listing.

    Can you help please?

    Hi,

    1) We keep this option if site owner want to track. You can uncheck as you don’t want it.

    2 & 3) Is this post original WP user set your email then mail go to WordPress user we have a bug here need to add ad email if it is different with WP register user email. We will fix it next version.

    Please check Spam folder I just register as user and posted an ad to test I see mail to advertiser (WP user) work perfectly I did multiple test see https://prnt.sc/pzfbkw

    Hi Radius Theme,

    as I have now resolved the server issue, could you let me know why the emails are going to the incorrect email address, as per my last reply?
    Or do I need to open a new ticket for this as it is a slightly different issue?

    Hi RadiusTheme,

    my apologies, I didn’t refresh my screen so missed your last reply.

    1) I do already have that option unchecked as I do not want to receive emails that should go to the owner of the Classified advert

    2 & 3) When a new listing is created, is a new user account supposed to be created for the person creating the listing? In the 2 tests I have created (when logged out of the site) this did not occur. Then when I approved (published) the listings, they defaulted to my admin user as the “author” of the listings.

    However when adding a new listing on the page http://thesimplewebinarcompany.co.uk/lefrenchlist/listing-form/ this did not force me to create an account.

    Have I got something set incorrectly ?

    2&3) No user need to register & login to post an ad you are logged in as admin so it don’t ask login. see I visited as an user it ask login first https://prnt.sc/pzpgq8

    you can enable registration from WordPress settings see https://www.radiustheme.com/setup-configure-classified-listing-pro-wordpress/#accountcreate
