    Hi,

The custom fields are customized with pods admin menu. Please install pods and look for ‘user’ content type.

Didn’t you write in the plugin description that NO PODS are needed for the free version to work??!
    So it works or not?
I could not find any sign of this plugin in the admin either ….

I looked through the code of this plugin and it appears it uses a Pods config to store it’s fields, but in a way that never interacts with Pods. That means if you want to install Pods, you can use it to customize the configuration further, otherwise it just shows the built-in fields that the plugin adds and shows them in the various places and handles saving.

There is no settings or tools page to configure this plugin, outside of installing Pods to customize the fields it sets up initially. Otherwise, it functions without Pods.

Thanks Scott for the timely and accurate explanation.

Sorry Candy2012 for the confusion. This plugin uses PODS custom field configuration to enable custom fields of woo customer (WordPress User). You may use PODS to add or remove custom fields. Once the custom fields are set up, PODS can be safely deactivated. This free plugin runs without the overhead of PODS, and only needs PODS for configuring custom fields.

The premium version hooks into PODS to deliver extra features and needs PODS to run.

By the way, you need to enable woocommerce customer registration at my account page to show the custom fields there, and enable shipping to show custom fields in shipping.

Please let me know if you need further help.

thanks, I was confused why all of the fields show up on My Account Page, and remain there after plugin deletion. If you could, please mention this in the plugin installation page, that all fields show up immediately, and you must activate Pods in order to manually remove any, AND that you can then uninstall Pods when you are finished.
