    Hi There!

A while ago (probably 8-10 months ago) I set up this plugin on our website to have a livestream option. I was able to successfully set up the Youtube api and embed the livestream shortcode using the wizard. We hadn’t figured out the logistics of setting up our encoder, camera, etc, so I disabled the plugin with the intention to re-enable it once we were ready to use it.

When I enabled the plugin, all my settings were still there including the api key, but I noticed that the shortcode I used before gave me this message: “To embed live videos, please make sure you performed the steps in this video to create and save a proper server API key.” So I double checked the api key to make sure I had the Youtube Data Api V3 enabled, made sure there were no restrictions, made sure it was set up as a Web Server key and not a Web Browser key, copied the key and pasted it in.

I was able to add a single video using the wizard, but when I attempt to add a channel or a livestream, I get this message: “Sorry, that does not seem to be a link to an existing video. Please confirm that the link works in your browser, and that the owner of the video allowed embed sharing permissions (otherwise, contact the owner of the video to allow embedding). Then copy that full link in your address bar to paste here. If you are sure your link is correct, then your API key may be too restrictive (https://console.developers.google.com/apis/credentials).”

I checked to make sure that the youtube channel’s default upload settings was set to “Public” and I went through the process of creating a new api from start to finish, but still getting the error.

Can I get some help on this please? Is there something I’m missing? I’ve already watched the tutorial video your plugin recommends and I followed it to a T.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
