• I have a custom designed WP website, and new to WP interface but not to code. Edited a ref tag under HTML tab of the Editor and produced an unexpected result to a paragraph–not sure why it would affect this.

Re-edited the HTML to revert but cannot seem to get the page to return to its original look. Even when I do extra styling or formatting I cannot seem to get the page to change–it is stuck to the view of original problem. Re-uploaded all files back to the server except the .sql file and it is still stuck. Checked in other browsers thinking a cache in Safari but no change.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have discovered that the Visual Editor is removing my <p> tags from the HTML when entering new paragraphs. Is this a problem with WP? I assumed that the Visual Editor was for those who new nothing about HTML but could style in a word-processing environment and that the HTML editor was for the rest of us. If this is the case how do people use the Visual Editor if it takes out the tags. What kind of editing is the visual editor limited to.

Please someone tell me this is not drawback of WP. If it is it really isn’t a complete CMS.
