    Sounds BS to me. If they don’t have the rights to post the image, you could ask for a DMCA takedown. Otherwise, since it’s not your site, there’s not much you can do if they don’t want to take it down.

    thanks for your feedback Matt. ah well they did have permission – it’s all parties involved now would like to take the photo down. However, the people in charge of the wordpress account in question don’t seem to have control of this page.. while logged in there doesn’t see to be a way to edit the page and they don’t know for what reason.

    I can’t be given passwords etc but I may be able to join them at their computer and have a go myself – I thought best to work out as much as I can remotely first.

    I’ve also contacted some other people who used to work there to see if there used to be another wordpress account..

    The will need admin access to the site or editor access to fix this. If they are logging in with a limited account they probably don’t have access to do much.

    Thanks Titanas – I’ll check with the girl about her level of access on the account. It seems just to be these older pages that she’s unable to edit.
